It’s no secret that we chaps can sometimes struggle with finding that perfect present for our leading ladies. We’d like to think we know exactly what they like but we’re all a little too familiar with those disappointed faces once the presents have been unwrapped…
So, to make sure we get it right next time we decided to speak to our lovely friends at Astrid & Miyu and Fleur of England to get some ideas. We’ve been told ladies love nothing more than fine jewellery and lingerie so here we go!
Let’s start off with the easier of the two, jewellery. We all know the ladies have a tendency to be attracted to bright, shiny things-
much like magpies! Anything that adds a little sparkle to her outfit will be much appreciated, apparently.
Based on what we’ve heard from the pros, we’d recommend keeping it subtle and classy, like these Astrid & Miyu rings– which she can choose to wear all at the same time or mix and match.

Next up, lingerie. We admit, buying lingerie gets us a little dithered – it’s a bit of an awkward experience at best. The lovely ladies at Fleur of England advised that we keep it simple and classic- think black and red underwear or silk and lace gowns, like the Heiress Silk Robe. The latter won’t require any bra size knowledge so it’s an excellent safe choice.
If you’re looking to be a little more daring then opt for a babydoll piece, like this Seduction Silk Babydoll or even a lace set, like the Scarlet Boudoir Set, to show you’ve really been paying attention. Now this should get you some serious brownie points!
