The days are longer and the weather is finally warmer, and what better way to take advantage of this than having a tipple or two at one of London’s rooftop bars.
We thought we’d do the testing for you (we know it’s a tough life, but someone’s got to do it) and compile a list of some of our favourite rooftop bars- just in time for you to check out this weekend.
Up first is Dalston Roof Park, not only does it have a bar, food shack and rooftop garden (to really make you feel like you’ve left the urban jungle), it also hosts a plethora of fun parties with some of the best DJs and bands, film screenings and workshops. You really can’t ask for much more.
If you’re looking for some unparalleled views of the city head to the Sushisamba bar. Situated on the 39th floor at Heron Tower, you really won’t be disappointed. If you’re feeling peckish then head indoors for some Brazilian-Japanese cuisine.
For something a little more cultured, make your way over to Sky Garden- London’s highest garden. You can take a tour of the gardens, enjoy cocktails on the open roof terrace and even choose between two venues to dine at. This is definitely one for a special occasion.
If you’re looking for something a little more central try out Vista at the Trafalgar Square hotel. You won’t get better views of this iconic landmark anywhere else. This rooftop bar may not be the cheapest of the lot but it certainly providers great views with those sundowners.
Now that we’ve shared some of our favourite rooftop bars in London, it’s time for you to go try them out!
