If you’re a vegetarian, we’ll readily admit, this post won’t be to your liking. However if you’re a meat lover, can’t have a meal without some sort of meat type of guy (with the exception of breakfast perhaps), then this post is right up your street.
This weekend some of the Cornerstone team will be heading to Meatopia over at Tobacco Dock in London. We hope some of you reading this have already got your tickets as we’ve been told it’s now fully sold out. However if you haven’t heard of this before then continue reading and set a reminder to get tickets for the next one- it’s definitely worth checking out. And for those that will be there, then this is what you should expect to see over the weekend.
Meatopia is essentially a meat, drink and music festival. All the meats are solely cooked over log or hardwood charcoal. This isn’t just any type pf meat though, you won’t find any battery hens here. In fact all the meat is hormone, anti-biotic and cruelty free and what’s more, all the dishes will be cooked by world-famous chefs, including the likes of Dan Doherty from London based restaurant Duck and Waffle and Jock Zonfrillo from Restaurant Orana in Adelaide, Australia. To liven things up live music is played throughout the whole weekend with butchery, craft ale sampling and live brewing on offer.
